When I was a little girl, I would beg my mom, a theatre-singing, English-major, middle school teacher, to buy me copies of Vogue and Harper's Bazaar to cut out clothes for my paper dolls, because the dolls' clothes were lame and boring.
I'm obsessed with fashion, fairy-tales and my kids.

i have always loved color. vibrant, brand new crayons, bold pastels, and painting my room hot pink (with ultra-gloss). lisa frank themed school supplies were always in my backpack, and i would spend hours with my fashion plates designing outfits on paper. if my mom couldn't find an accessory to match an outfit for me, she would hand-make it. she knew details from the get-go, and definitely has influenced me on why a simple prop or an article of kids' clothing can inspire and entire styled shoot.
