i am An east-coast, female business owner + creative director who believes in whimsical, whole-hearted, and colorful imagery and that my clients' experiences should be authentic, relaxed, and so much fun!
Oh, and in case you didn't know, I have a slight (haha) obsession with all things disney, fashion, coffee + of course, my kids.
I have been creative, artistic, and behind a camera since I was a child.
From creating my own paper doll outfits from old issues of Vogue, to drawing sketches of my favorite Disney characters on napkins, my entire world has been a bright box of crayons, and always looking for ways to making beautiful art for my home, my children, and my clients.
when i was a little girl, i wanted to either be a disney animator or a mermaid. true story, my teacher had to have a chat about make-believe and realism with my mom, and to this day, i still think she was wrong. anyways, let's just say growing up in florida and then cape may, new jersey, my feet were always in sand, sounds of a boardwalk and rides were my music, but my wardrobe felt more like wednesday addams. im a sucker for black everything, with pops of color in my accessories.
i graduated high school and while i was changing my major over and over in college, i was working for starbucks when i realized i loved customer service and the business/marketing side of retail. i moved to center city, philadelphia and earned my associate's degree in visual merchandising. i interned for nicole miller, urban outfitters, and philadelphia style magazine, all while continuing with the starbucks co. while at philadelphia style, i absolutely loved behind the scenes layouts and photography, which lead me to choose graphic design, photoshop courses, and photography for my elective courses. these are the base of my development and i am so grateful to the art institute. i earned my bachelor's degree in retail management and marketing, and left the coffee world for fashion. after graduation, i landed a visual team position with juicy couture, and worked for burberry and harrah's casino and spa in hospitality. i got to meet some fun celebrities and add events to my resume. it was in 2009 that i married, started my family, and moved to delaware. beach to beach, i don't ever want to know what it's like not living by the ocean. since 2010, i have had a wonderful career in retail management for national clothing companies (pacsun, rue 21, and others) and other businesses. while having a career and having children, i realized my ideas for my oldest son's photos were too big for a sears portrait studio, which lead me to do it on my own, in my home, with a started dslr. after a year of obsessively taking his photos and posting online, friends requested photos, and so forth, and in 2012...it became a business. and here we are, 13 years later!
